I have slowly started to build my illustration portfolio. Having neglected it as a formal practice, the use of pen, ink and watercolour have now become more common in my work.

Botanical Illustration
My Great Great Great Great Great Grandmother, Anne Rudge, was one of the first known published female botanical illustrators. She created work for her husband’s book, Plantarum Guianae in 1805. I have started to combine my work as a plantswoman with my artistic practice to follow her lead.
